Recently, I hit the absolute jackpot with some incredible estate auction vintage finds.

The $10.00 Estate Auction Frying Pan That Sold for $400.00
If you saw the thumbnail for my latest video, you might have spotted a completely plain, innocent-looking frying pan.
To the untrained eye, it just looked like a piece of old kitchen metal. But seasoned collectors know that vintage cookware—especially rare, early cast iron or specialty regional pans—holds massive value.
I secured this particular pan at an estate auction for a crisp $10.00 bill. After a bit of research, cleaning, and listing, it caught the eye of a serious collector who bought it for $400.00! It just goes to show that you should never pass up the kitchen section when you’re hunting for vintage treasures.
Unexpected Treasures: Vintage Cadillac Hubcaps
The kitchenware wasn’t the only win from this sourcing run. Sometimes the items that surprise you the most are the ones you almost left behind.
While sorting through some older lots, I ended up with a set of vintage Cadillac hubcaps. Automotive memorabilia and classic car parts are highly sought after by restorers, but I didn’t expect these to go as fast—or for as much—as they did. Watching these roll out the door was an absolute shocker!
